In recent years, product demand of the market is growing, and the renewing of products is also very quickly. Shortening the lead time between material sourcing and product launching is not only a request from customers, but also a market demand.
Pronology Services Incorporation dedicates to meeting our customers’ requirements of producing, delivering and supporting all products and services on a timely and consistent basis. We provide a meticulous and original mode of control/managing style.
I. Manage materials accurately on a timely basis
- The management method for ERP "Simulation lack of material" is: A new order comes with the customer’s required delivery date. The sales department calculates the kitting date based on the material L/T and the delivery date. Then the ERP system works out all the sourcing demands according to the kitting date. All the shortages will be listed in the "Simulation Lack of Material List”, which is emailed to the purchase department, sales department, production and PMC department by the PMC member every 8:30 am. The purchase department is in charge of full turn-key parts while the sales department takes charge of consign parts. Any defect from incoming parts is put forward for a timely solution by the suppliers or the customers.
- Management method of 3 day shortage: Shortage list for the recent 3 days is sent by the PMC member 9:30 am, reminding the relevant staff to track the material status, which helps the production department arrange for the daily production schedule.
- Management method of insufficiency for work order materials: Lists of material status is generated by the PMC member every 5:00 pm for a second confirmation of the production schedule.
Ⅱ. Daily Schedule Control
- The production schedule meeting is held every morning 11 to 12 am, the production department gives reports on the on-line order progress and then adjusts the schedule by the updated status from the sales
- Focus on addressing the problems efficiently from customers or vendors and the issues during production by the daily schedule control meeting.
- Keep pace with customers by holding the meetings and have customers' instant requirements be taken into action in time.
Ⅲ. Receive the shipping information in advance
The sales department gets the shipping information from the customer one week before the delivery, including the address, delivery terms and shipping marks of both sides. Then the sales department emails the information under the subject “Shipping Information List", Also, the comments should been processed by the Customs members and the production department properly.
Ⅳ. Meticulous Management of work orders:
- If some material shortages have been found at the end of the production process, we still use the "Simulation Lack of Material" to have the sales department or the purchase department track them.
- All non-closed orders are listed and updated in the "Non-Closed order Tracking List" and then emailed by PMC member each afternoon to the sales department.
PMC is the bridge between the customers and the sales. It coordinates the production and makes unremitting efforts to meet the customers’ delivery date.
